Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Polystic ("Polystic", "we", "us") operates the website and application at polystic.app (the "Service"), an AI-powered research and analysis tool for prediction markets. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can exercise your rights. For data protection law in the European Union, Polystic is the controller of the personal data described here.

2. Information we collect

• Account data. Your name, email address, and profile picture when you sign in with Google, or your email address alone when you sign in with an email link.
• Subscription data. When you upgrade, our payment processor Whop shares your Whop user id, membership id, subscription status, and the email address used at checkout so we can unlock Premium on your account. Card and bank details go directly to Whop; we never receive or store them.
• Content you submit. Screenshots you upload to the Analyzer, messages you exchange with the AI Coach, and the practice trades you place.
• Analysis history. The results of your analyses (the market identified, the verdict, suggested price levels, reasoning, and research log) are saved to your account so you can revisit them. The uploaded screenshot itself is processed in memory to run the analysis and is not stored on our servers.
• Technical data. Our infrastructure providers keep standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) for security and reliability.

3. How we use your information

• To provide the Service: run analyses, generate picks, power the AI Coach, track paper trading, and display the leaderboard.
• To manage subscriptions: process checkout through Whop and keep your plan in sync via payment webhooks.
• To sign you in: send single-use sign-in links to your email address.
• To keep the Service safe: enforce free-tier limits, prevent abuse, and debug failures.

Where EU law applies, we rely on the performance of our contract with you (providing the Service you signed up for), our legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention, and service improvement), and your consent where required. We do not sell personal data, and we do not send marketing email.

4. AI processing

The Analyzer, daily picks, and AI Coach are powered by Anthropic's Claude models. To generate results, your screenshots, your Coach messages, and related market data are sent to Anthropic, which processes them as our service provider. Under Anthropic's commercial API terms, data submitted through the API is not used to train Anthropic's models by default.

Please do not include sensitive personal information (yours or anyone else's) in screenshots or chat messages. The Service does not need it to work.

5. Cookies

We use only cookies that are necessary for the Service to function: a session cookie that keeps you signed in and small preference cookies (for example, whether the sidebar is collapsed). We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or third-party analytics.

6. Who we share data with

• Whopprocesses payments and subscription management. Checkout happens on whop.com under Whop's own privacy policy.
• Google provides sign-in with Google, only if you choose that sign-in method.
• Anthropic provides the AI models, as described in section 4.
• Infrastructure providers host our application, database, and email delivery, acting under our instructions.
• Public market data sources (Polymarket, Kalshi, PredictIt) receive our requests for public market data. We do not send them your personal data.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it, to protect our rights or users' safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this policy continues to apply to your data.

7. International transfers

Some of our providers process data in the United States and other countries outside the European Economic Area. Where GDPR applies, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards, such as adequacy decisions or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses entered into by our processors.

8. Data retention

We keep your account data and history while your account exists. Payment webhook records are kept for billing reconciliation and dispute handling. Server logs rotate on short schedules. When you request deletion, we remove or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except data we are required to keep for legal or accounting reasons (for example, billing records held by Whop).

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. If you are in the EU or EEA, you may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

You can cancel your subscription anytime from Settings in the app. To delete your account and data, or to exercise any other right, email us at polystic@proton.me from the address linked to your account and we will handle it promptly.

10. Security

We protect data with encryption in transit, access controls, and single-use sign-in links instead of stored passwords. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep the email account you use for sign-in protected, since it grants access to your Polystic account.

11. Children

The Service is intended for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with an updated date, and we will notify you in the app or by email if the changes are material.
